I sometimes peruse Conservapedia, mostly for laughs, but I stumbled across this article on conservapedia and wanted an objective discussion of it. Unfortunately, Conservapedia cites only CBN and testimony from church pastors and such, and Wikipedia doesn't have an article about it at all.

The fact that it is was mentioned in the California legislature alone does not make it remarkably notable, but even so, Wikipedia is not a paper encyclopedia. I think the CA legislature reference goes towards credible sourcing - what really demonstrates notability is the large number of partisan references a google search reveals. This event clearly struck some kind of chord in the anti-gay world.

So, I'll continue to try to find unbiased (or as close as possible to unbiased) sources, and build up the article. Zelmerszoetrop (talk) 09:19, 7 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
