Rikken Seiyukai[edit]

It says that his political party (in his little info box there on the side) that he was part of Rikken Seiyukai. He wasn't, he was in direct opposition to them because he was formerly part of the Kenseikai, which then merged with Seiyu Honto to make the Minseito, of which Hamaguchi became president of, and became Prime Minister of Japan with a Minseito cabinet. ...In short, I'm just going to correct this rather substantial mistake. --220.237.3.4 09:54, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Scene of Death?[edit]

I think the Tokyo Station photo captions are incorrect. Hamaguchi did not die on that spot, but rather lived on for another 10 months. "scene of assassination" or "scene of shooting" would be better. "Scene of death" makes it sound like he died immediately on that spot. --Westwind273 (talk) 22:59, 4 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Done - I've reworded the captions in this article together with the descriptions on the original images uploaded at Wiki Commons to clarify that they show the scene of the attempted assassination and not his death. --DAJF (talk) 13:59, 14 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Rename the article to Hamaguchi Osachi?[edit]

In cases like Ozaki Yukio and Katō Takaaki, any chance to change article title to Hamaguchi Osachi, or make a redirect? Of course, it involves a debatable subject for titles ... --Omotecho (talk) 06:18, 24 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Done - Yes, the PMs before and after Hamaguchi are in Japanese order so this did not make any sense. I went ahead and made the move. --Ash-Gaar (talk) 06:26, 5 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
