Genre[edit]

Is this album really considered pop? I would think it would be soundtrack, or something like that. Danielh8675 20:06, 30 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Album Art[edit]

Album Art is ridiculous. Someone please replace it. 216.195.22.106 22:12, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Album Class[edit]

I went ahead and classified this article as a Start Class, but I think that with a bit of work it could soon be a B Class article. There were just a few areas where I felt the article was lacking for B Class, such as the lack of times in the track listing. —Mears man 10:11, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I Can Wait[edit]

If you were to pre-order this album through iTunes, it came with the song "I Can Wait", which was written for the movie but removed in post-preduction. If you were to go to the store and buy this album, though, the song wouldn't be included. I suppose my question would be whether or not this song should be listed along with the others in this article. At the very least, I think it needs to be mentioned somewhere. —Mears man 22:59, 13 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The song is mentioned in the Album information section, but it would be helpful to mention that the song is no longer available on iTunes. — WiseKwai 04:18, 14 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Full Names[edit]

I'm just curious. Where did the surnames of the council members come from? Other than the few that are expressly mentioned in the film, I haven't been able to find a source for them. The same goes for the middle names of some of the main characters, as well as Corny's name being Cornelius. I have no problem with the names as long as they are backed up by some official source, please cite. Davi Williams 17:39, 11 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

2-Disc Collector's Edition[edit]

Apparently a two-disc collector's edition of the soundtrack is being released the day that the DVD comes out, and there is an entirely seperate article for the two-disc collector's edition. Would it not be best to merge that article with this one? - Tigerfan368 20:51, 16 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Hs-soundtrack-cover official.jpg[edit]

Image:Hs-soundtrack-cover official.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Who sang what song[edit]

Does it need to show who sang on what song in the vocalist sections? I mean, weren't they already shown in the track listing so wouldn't it be redundant? RPlunk2853 (talk) 22:51, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Lyrics[edit]

Would it really be Wikipedia style to add lyrics? I mean wouldn't it be somewhat universe style as none of the other soundtrack articles have lyrics (that I know of). I was just wondering.RPlunk2853 (talk) 21:46, 11 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

New section[edit]

I added a new section for the CD as it did not mention that a song in the movie was not included on the soundtrack "The Nicest Kids in Town (Reprise)". Feel free to edit it, I just thought it might be important but I don't know.

The article needs technical personnel and all musicians, not just vocalists. It also needs improved inline referencing to help readers verify information.

Article requirements:
Green tickY Start: reasonably complete infobox; lead section with overview of album; track listing; reference to at least primary personnel by name; Categorization by at least artist and year.
Green tickY C: all of start and (1) cover art in infobox; (2) at least one additional section of prose; (3) track lengths & song authors in tracklist; (4) a personnel section including all musicians.

Please see Wikipedia:WikiProject_Albums/Assessment for additional information on article class. To request a reassessment from the Album project, when concerns are addressed, please see "requesting an assessment". --Moonriddengirl (talk) 22:39, 27 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
