Hagbard's Relatives[edit]
I'm trying to be real good about not adding unverifiable stuff here, but there's a few items relevant to this I think need some discussion. First, Jean-Marc Lofficier has put forth the theory that Hagbard is another identity of Cagliostro/Nemo/Count of Monte Crisco in his French Wold Newton Universe. Also, the McGee/Marlowe family connection (Obviously referring to Travis and Philip) also appears in PJ Farmer's family tree of Doc Savage -- Marlowe on Doc's mother's side (Norwegian due to her descent from Wolf Larsen) and McGee on his father's (where Cagliostro is also featured). Should any of this be on the main page, and if so how should it be approached? --Icarus 23

As there is a TV series of the Trilogy under development there will probably be more interest in this Keep in mind that this also may impact the Wold Newton Family and Doc Savage pages I worked on the Illuminatus! comic and Shea and Wilson never confirmed or denied the theory about their writing. The closest they came was when I asked Bob Shea about this and he said, "Now what do you think?" What is a "Freeman"? What is a Holy Man / Shit Head? Please rewrite this in a more informative style.
He's a fictional character![edit]
It is odd that this entry contains statements that events in Hagbard's life story "can't be proven" as if he were real person. He's a character in a trilogy, not a person who was born, lived and died. Of course, the tales of his life can't be proved or documented as he's a fictional character. 69.125.134.86 (talk) 14:37, 23 June 2013 (UTC)
Libertarian Bias[edit]
I'm seeing a lot of original research here regarding Hagbard's name. There are missing citations and the whole thing reads like an advertisement for Ayn Rand. Can we get someone to check into this and see if it meets standards? Eyes down, human. (talk) 18:14, 21 October 2014 (UTC)
