Dubious claim that says "Abyssinian people is a common term used to refer mainly ... Cushitic people"
Hi all, There is a dubious claim that says "Abyssinian people is a common term used to refer mainly ... Cushitic people". However, scholars have classified the Amhara and the Tigrayans as Abyssinians proper (Ultra-Conservative theory).[1]. And Amhara and Tigrayans are both southern Semitic people. Someone please remove the misleading comment that says "Cushitic people".

- This is Oromo POV. In Ethiopia, the word Habesha is associated with Semitic peoples, especially Tigray people. Habesha is not used to refer to Semitic peoples. Oromo even contrast themselves with Habesha sometimes saying that Habesha are not even true Ethiopians. FastInjera (talk) 20:29, 12 March 2019 (UTC)
