Who built this ship - some confusion[edit]

In the course of expanding the list of ships built by John Brown & Company in Clydebank, I've come across some confusion in external sources about who built this ship. This article and http://www.naval-history.net/xGM-Chrono-10DD-09VW-Wakeful1.htm state that it was built by Beardmore in Dalmuir, while http://uboat.net/allies/warships/ship/4249.html and http://www.clydesite.co.uk/clydebuilt/viewship.asp?id=2019 give the builder as John Brown & Company, Clydebank. Beardmore and John Brown operated shipyards that were practically next door to each other, and I guess it's possible that at the height of shipbuilding during WW1 they might have passed the occasional order back and forth if their yards were full, but I'm not sure how to resolve the question of who actually built the ship. I'll leave it out of the John Brown list for now. -- DMS (talk) 19:13, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
