At the moment, this article fails WP:Verifiability. I see that my proposed deletion has been removed, as well as a bunch of cleanup tags (without these on the article, no other editors can find it for improvement), but I can't find any assertion of notability, nor can I verify it. I've had a look:
- http://ntdailydatabase.com/?p=808 is just a press release ("Source: Erik Herbst of Panhandle House"),
- http://www.dallasobserver.com/2008-05-01/music/gutterh-productions-brings-top-dallas-and-denton-bands-together-on-stage/ might be actual journalism, but I'm not sure.
I'm having trouble finding relevant reliable references. Whilst it's been asserted that it has been nominated for multiple Dallas Observer Music Awards, presumably it didn't win any of these Music Awards, and nomination doesn't make anyone notable (If that was the case, I could get myself nominated for a Nobel prize (easy enough) and become notable myself). I can't even find verification that they were even nominated, but dallasobserver.com doesn't seem to be available to me for some reason.
Can any verifiable references to the assertions of notability be provided, or should I just nominate this for WP:SPEEDY deletion? Josh Parris 10:53, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
