This area was NEVER called gulivoire park. It is and always has been named: Gilmer Park. It was subdivided from property owned by Mr. Gilmer. I know this because I lived there. I also looked up the records in St. Joseph County.

PLEASE correct this error. It is driving us all crazy. Thanks, Hope Vollmer Hope Vollmer (talk) 20:59, 28 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This area is called Gilmer Park. Evidently, someone with poor eyesight copied the name down incorrectly and it has been reproduced incorrectly REPEATEDLY! There are still a few maps (printed) which have it correctly listed, such as the DeLorme grid map2601:242:C101:8770:A543:516A:EF6D:B7F2 (talk) 13:55, 18 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I reverted your unsourced edits. Gilmer Park is not Gulivoire Park, it appears to be a seperate unincorporated community, that is not a CDP like Gulivoire Park is. Evking22 (talk) 20:51, 6 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Request Edit[edit]

Hi, You have an area of land in St. Joseph County Indiana listed as Gulivoire park. I would like to know how it came about this name because it has always been referred to by residents as GILMER PARK. Approximately 25 years ago it was referred to as Gilmer on weather maps, etc. Can you tell me how this changed? I am researching for an article. I see that it shows Gilmer Park as a subdivision of this area but believe that is inaccurate. People who live is other subdivions in this area have always referred to it as GILMER Park. Can you please let me know how this came to be. I have found a logical explanation of who Gilmer might be but nothing of Gulivoire. Thank you 24.1.134.103 (talk) 15:44, 2 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
