A brand new for Gulf Today - needed changes[edit]

The page Gulf Today already exists as a redirect. The separate The Gulf Today article and its redirect were both created about 14 years ago. Thus, if the page is to be renamed, the edit histories of The Gulf Today and Gulf Today need to be merged. This request should be submitted using the {{requested move}} template. Support. The current official website seems to indicate that the proposed title is the correct title. And per WP:THE, beginning an article title with "The" is generally discouraged unless it is explicitly part of the name, which it no longer is in this case.
