Article name[edit]

Article name should have some proofs since it could be called not grivna but hryvnia. No references are provided for this. however it is used in other articles or sentences (for example 'The name of the contemporary currency of Ukraine, hryvnia, is derived from the ancient grivna.') without any references. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Соєва корівка (talkcontribs)

  • The grivna that this article is about predates the existence of the country named Ukraine by almost a thousand years, and has absolutely nothing to do with the modern day Ukrainian currency named hryvnia, other than similar names, so the name of this article should definitely not be changed... - Tom | Thomas.W talk 21:41, 5 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
