Lyrics[edit]

Should the lyrics section be separate? I think adding a link after the song name (like Song Name (running time) lyrics might be more helpful and less page-space costly. Leave me a message about it on my talk page. -[[User:Mysekurity|Mysekurity]] [[additions | e-mail]] 22:44, 4 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Only God Can Judge Me[edit]

When did that become a track on the disc? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.222.181.74 (talk) 05:26, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Criticism[edit]

I removed the criticism section, due to lack of any legitimate criticisms. It stated that many people criticize the album for containing more Death Row songs than songs from previous labels, which doesn't even make sense. From a quick count, I see 9 non-Death Row songs, and 12 Death Row songs (not counting the 4 unreleased songs). Now, if you wanted to continue an argument over 3 songs, take into consideration that the 3 albums he released before Death Row didn't break 4x Platinum, whereas the 2 he did with Death Row before his death (Also take into consideration that All Eyez on Me was a double-disc album) sold 16x Platinum, and undoubtedly contained more hit singles. Being as it's a Greatest Hits album, it's only logical that it contain songs that were actually popular. Therefore, unless any reasonable criticisms exist, I see no reason for the section to exist. Oh, and if this is sounding like gibberish to anyone, that's because it's 4:40 AM here, right now. Sorry. --Yayza 08:42, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Changes (2pac song).jpg[edit]

Image:Changes (2pac song).jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:13, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Article In General[edit]

I just finished reading the article for this Wikipedia entry and it reads like one of those late night advertising commercials trying to hype someone up to buy a product or service. There is too much positive opinion and not enough neutrality in the article. Parts of it should be written, like for example...

"Among the numerous hits from 2Pac on this generous two-CD set are "Brenda's Got a Baby"; "Keep Your Head Up"; "2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted," featuring Snoop Dogg; and "How Do You Want It," featuring K-Ci & JoJo. Among the other standouts are "I Get Around," featuring Digital Underground; "California Love," featuring Dr. Dre; and "Dear Mama.""

and...

"Though posthumous albums are often only a record company's vision of how to make more money, 2Pac's Greatest Hits is just what it promises; a collection of all his hottest tracks, chart toppers, and street jams. Tracks from his time spent on both Interscope Records and Death Row Records are included, as are three previously unreleased tracks, "Unconditional Love," "God Bless the Dead" and "Troublesome '96.""

Maybe it's me but when I read these two sections, it just seems like someone is trying to push his music (like they're a salesman) instead of pushing from a neutral POV. Why is his greatest 2-disc CD set generous? Other artists have put out 2 or 3 CD disc sets. Should they be described as generous too? Again with the 2nd paragraph, "all his hottest tracks, chart toppers and street jams." Is this an article or a late night infomercial?98.21.193.229 (talk) 08:24, 15 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Me against the world[edit]

this was in hyperlinks. in this context this phrase is referring to the song "me against the world" but if you clicked the link you got to the page for the album "me against the world". I took it out of hyperlinks. EdGilmour (talk) 11:56, 18 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
