Article issues[edit]

According to the deletion log, this article has been deleted a whopping 4 times - twice as G11 (blatant advertising), once as A7 (non-notable company), and the fourth I'm not sure. User Realkyhick (talk · contribs) added the copypaste tag to the article ([1]), which was deleted 3 hours later by user Shorebirdva (talk · contribs) – the author of this incarnation of the article – ([2]) without the problem being addressed.

After the last deletion of the page, I requested that it be userfied to my user space so that I could create a new stub article from its remains. I've been a customer for several years and think it merits inclusion. The userfied article ([3]) strongly resembles the article as it presently exists ([([4]), as well as the deleted user page of blocked user Greatclipsinc (talk · contribs). So...the issues I have are these:

  • This article has been copied and pasted from somewhere; I just can't figure out where or whether it does constitute a copyright violation.
  • Sockpuppetry may be at play here.

  • I agree that the company is definitely notable - any chain with more than 2,000 locations certainly would be - so the A7 speedy is rather ridiculous. The current article does appear to have some stuff copied, but I'm not sure where either. I think I'll just edit to tone down the more PR-type stuff in here, and we'll go from there. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 23:54, 13 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've restored an old, much smaller stub that's referenced and not spammy. The G11 deletions came after someone replaced the page with spammy text and removed the actual referenced content, and were improper--- the page should've been reverted to the pre-spam version instead, which is what I did. Feel free to improve on the stub, but make sure improvements are referenced and factual rather than advertising-like. (Apologies if I've missed something in the history that did meet those criteria; the article history is somewhat convoluted.) --Delirium (talk) 06:16, 21 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Reads like a promotion for franchisees. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:281:8000:66E3:A8EE:D658:A77:19E0 (talk) 15:59, 30 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
