The Beck[edit]

Some mapping services erroneously describe the beck flowing through Great Broughton as the Leven itself, but this isn't so - the OS map has it correct, it's the Broghton Beck. Note that there's a village in Lancashire called Broughton Beck, which is entirely unrelated to this. -- Finlay McWalter • Talk 15:54, 9 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
