Make a reverting move Gare de Granville (Manche)Granville station (Manche) – and similarly 51 other pages about French railway stations, and their talk pages, listed here, that User:Captain scarlet moved. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 14:44, 2 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

There appear to be two conclusions from this discussion.

  1. The old 'Gare de ..' style of naming is not wanted.
  2. There is disagreement over whether to use a suffix of 'station' or 'railway station'

Therefore (1) I will reinstate my request to the admins to reverse the moves made by Captain scarlet, and (2) I propose that further discussion on the naming ('station' v. 'railway station') should take place at Wikipedia_talk:Manual_of_Style/France_and_French-related_articles#Naming_of_French_railway_station_articles.
