Wikidata query for entries[edit]

Wikidata query

This should return the same list as the article, however it relies on located in the administrative territorial entity (P131) being added to each location.

For example: Church of St Bartholomew (church of England) (Q17542235) should have the located in the administrative territorial entity (P131) property of Wigginton (Q2582838) --Aluxosm (talk) 13:31, 12 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

It's not quite the exact area (https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/2683586) because I haven't worked out how to search in a polygon yet, but this returns the rest of them within a bounding box that encompasses Dacorum - Wikidata query
So they just need going through to check what town they're in, make sure they're in Dacorum, then add the located in the administrative territorial entity (P131) property. After that, the the rest of the information can be transferred to Wikidata. My goal in this is to have the ability to automatically generate this page using Wikidata so that it is accurate (Wikidata has more up-to-date info on these locations), and so that other languages can use it. --Aluxosm (talk) 16:12, 12 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Looks like this may take a little longer than expected! I've started a page to get the ball rolling over at User:Aluxosm/Grade II* listed buildings in Dacorum that uses Template:Wikidata_list to generate it, but there a some things like the "Date designated" property that don't even exist on Wikidata yet. All of that and it looks like this sort of thing still isn't maintream on Wikipedia 🤦‍♂️. I guess this can just be used as a checker for updates done to Wikidata items. --Aluxosm (talk) 02:33, 13 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Apart from the Date designated and some Type fields, I think I've brought the generated list (User:Aluxosm/Grade II* listed buildings in Dacorum) up to feature parity! --Aluxosm (talk) 22:42, 13 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Ooh, still need to add the completed dates to the Wikidata items actually 🙄. (Sorting by Entry number in both tables helps to compare them by the way) --Aluxosm (talk) 22:48, 13 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
