This looks in generally good order. Comments as follows:

  • Suggest amending the lead to refer to Dunklin being initially buried on the family estate and then being re-interred to the present site.
    • Done
  • Suggest breaking the background into two paragraphs, maybe at the sentence starting "He resigned..." or at "in 1840...". Ditto the Historic Park section.
    • Split both
  • This portion of the background section Washington County, Missouri in 1815. In 1822 and 1823,... has a lot of dates close together which makes for awkward phrasing.
    • I've moved the 1822 and 1823 dates into the middle of that sentence
  • ...1832, Dunklin won the 1832 Missouri gubernatorial election: how about "...1832, Dunklin won that year's Missouri gubernatorial election"? Gets rid of the double usage of 1832.
    • Done
  • He was buried near his home in Herculaneum.: maybe clarify that he was buried on the family estate.
    • Done
  • a cite needs to follow the "a memorial park" and "perpetual care" quotes
    • Done (I've put an inline comment in there to indicate why that reference was there, in an attempt to prevent some AWB drone from mindlessly removing it as an overreference down the road)
  • Image tags look OK, no dupe links.

That's my review done. Zawed (talk) 09:30, 1 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Looks good to me. Passing as GA now as I believe this meets the criteria. Cheers, Zawed (talk) 10:02, 6 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
