Sometime soon, hopefully tomorrow, I'm going to try to get all that info under "interviews" into tables with 3 columns: Fashion, Music (merged with Individuals, since those are all music anyway) and other articles. Yay project. Ric | opiaterein 00:47, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, done. :D Ric | opiaterein 16:42, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Blue Blood Partnership Information[edit]

Someone keeps vandalizing this page and removing the following info, as well as any reference to Blue Blood in the table of contents for the numerous issues Gothic Beauty worked on with Blue Blood. The same vandal appears to have, in various places on Wikipedia, vandalized text on Blue Blood, Richard Kern, and Apnea, including blanking sizable portions of articles. Should detailed cites be provided for every model who has appeared in the magazine? Cover images with details? That seems like more detail than necessary, although there is a TOC for all issues already, so that could be expanded. If whoever keeps deleting pertinent history here could explain why they would be removing this info, discussing it politely here in Talk might lead to a faster resolution.

The 20th issue of Gothic Beauty (pictured at right featuring cover model Apnea) is currently on newsstands. Of the issues published so far, many noteworthy individuals and bands have been featured. Blue Blood has provided more cover models and features than any other entity and Holiday Media and Blue Blood partnered to produce SWAG Magazine[1]. It is not clear what Blue Blood's ownership stake, if any, may be, but more models from the Blue Blood roster have appeared on the cover and inside the magazine's pages than from anywhere else.

That source doesn't say anything about a partnership between Blue Blood and Gothic Beauty or about their models. It doesn't even have the words 'models' or 'partnership' in it. If it's going to be in the article then yes, detailed sources should be listed so that it can't be disputed. Ric | opiaterein 19:55, 5 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You need to scroll to the bottom of the page on the cite. The partnership info mentions Steven Holiday who is Gothic Beauty and Amelia G and Forrest Black who are Blue Blood.24.127.62.7 22:47, 6 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The Facts About The 'claimed' partnership information[edit]

Holiday Media never partnered with Blue Blood for SWAG Magazine. Holiday Media in 2002 partnered with Forrest Black & Amelia G, individually, not the business entity of Blue Blood, to produce SWAG Magazine which Holiday Media dropped after its first issue due to lack of sales. Holiday Media in 2003 defended its position by attorney after Forrest Black and Amelia G tried to libel the publishing company and steal funds.

?[edit]

The swagmag.com domain appears to have been registered in late 2002, so why would Gothic Beauty have published the magazine in 2003, if there was a legal dispute in 2002? The owner of that domain appears to be Blue Blood and not Forrest Black and Amelia G individually. What would the difference be between Blue Blood and Forrest Black and Amelia G, in terms of this entry? Does anyone have a copy of SWAG in print which indicates whether Blue Blood, as an entity, or only Forrest Black and Amelia G were involved? And how would mentioning only Forrest Black and Amelia G cover how more models from the Blue Blood roster have appeared on the cover of Gothic Beauty and inside the magazine's pages than from anywhere else?

The Facts About The 'Claimed' Contribution[edit]

Blue Blood has neither provided more cover models nor features. That is a false claim. Gothic Beauty works with many independent photographers and models to produce their issues and since 2003 (the date at which Gothic Beauty stopped working with Forrest Black and Amelia G) other noteworthy photographers have contributed more to the magazine (their work paid for). As for the claim that Blue Blood has contributed the most articles, that is also false. Gothic Beauty was never associated with Blue Blood to write articles in the early editions of the magazine (2001-2003). Gothic Beauty associated with Amelia G, individually, for articles in the early issues (2001-2003).

[2] shows many of the features Blue Blood provided. If Gothic Beauty and Blue Blood also actually produced an entire magazine together, surely, from a historical perspective, that is of note, whether or not they still work together today or whatever the vaguaries of various corporate blinds might be now or might have been. 24.127.62.7 22:47, 6 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Response to ?[edit]

Corrected the date for 2003 (2001-2003). I also happen to have a copy of the first, and only, SWAG Magazine. It states Forrest Black and Amelia G individually. I also happen to have a copy of the publishing contract. It also states Forrest Black and Amelia G individually. Also, as a matter of fact, photographers Kyle Cassidy and Nadya Lev have by far contributed more photography work to Gothic Beauty.

The Facts About The 'Claimed' Ownership Stake[edit]

Gothic Beauty is owned wholly by Holiday Media. No lawsuits or litigation has ever disputed this fact.

Knew that Blue Blood picked up the tab for a lot of Gothic Beauty content and Blue Blood and Gothic Beauty did SWAG magazine together and wasn't sure how that was. 24.127.62.7 22:47, 6 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, took this to Talk after reading the Wikipedia dispute and vandalism entries, but never had this sort of situation come up before so still learning. Can you please tag this for comment from others? Not sure how to do that, but it is needed. 24.127.62.7 22:47, 6 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why would Gothic Beauty want to remove Blue Blood from the history books?[edit]

It appears that 71.56.142.123, the same IP which removed the Blue Blood information from this article, went on an edit rampage through Wikipedia removing mention of Blue Blood and vandalizing multiple articles which had to be repaired by editors. This IP appears to be Gothic Beauty-related. Why would Gothic Beauty want to remove Blue Blood from the history books? 24.127.62.7 22:47, 6 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
