Gorilla Suit Pilot[edit]

I remember hearing that one of the test pilots for the U.S. Air Forces expiramental jet planes, just after World War II, would wear a gorilla suit while flying. If I hear it again, I try to put it on hear.Cedargang (talk) 22:52, 22 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Gorilla suit or Ape suit?[edit]

A search of Google shows that the term Ape suit generates 10x the hits of Gorilla suit. Ape suit has always been the term I hear. If noone objects, I will move this article to Ape suit. - Gilliam (talk) 05:17, 18 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have always heard "gorilla suit" and believe it should stay here, especially considering the semi-existence of a National Gorilla Suit Day. --ChasFink (talk) 18:55, 24 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Gorilla suitCreature suit – I see no reason why an article like this is any more individually notable than, say, bear suit (which doesn't have its own Wikipedia page). I think it should be moved to a subsection under a blanket article about animal suits in film/theater/etc. Rar91 (talk) 15:40, 27 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • The article would need to be expanded first since it currently only covers Gorilla suits. Another possibility would be to make a separate article about creature suits in general.--69.157.253.232 (talk) 18:19, 27 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. The current title matches the actual content. Dimadick (talk) 08:41, 28 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Strong oppose WP:AT this is not the topic of this article. The topic of this article is the gorilla suit. If you want to delete the article, use WP:AFD; go ahead and write a new article at creature suit if you want. (you can use WP:AFC to create an article) -- 70.51.46.39 (talk) 08:56, 28 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose Many films and television shows have used the Gorilla suit, the article name is fine and covers the topic. Randy Kryn 00:11, 29 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
