Proposed Move: Barosaurus (“Gordo”) → Gordo (dinosaur)[edit]

The current article title does not fit with any other of WP:DINO's specific specimen articles. I therefore propose we rename the article from "Barosaurus ("Gordo")" to ""Gordo" (dinosaur)", so as to allow this article to fit with the other WP:DINO articles and make it easier for general Wikipedians to look for. strong support although i am not convinced this fossil even merits its own article- it could probably easily be incorporated into Barosaurus --Animalparty-- (talk) 05:41, 26 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I've gone ahead and moved it, in the spirit of WP:BEBOLD. All the best, --Animalparty-- (talk) 21:03, 12 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure why this even warrants it's own article. Should be merged into the genus article, which isn't very long. FunkMonk (talk) 09:56, 16 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Spanish language?[edit]

"Gordo" is Spanish for 'fat' or, in some cases, for 'big'. In Spanish, it is a masculine form that only refers to masculine objects or male living beings, but anyway it mainly translates into English as 'fat'. Is there any Spanish or South-American origin of that nickname? Anybody knows? Kintaro (talk) 14:47, 12 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
