Minor missing plot element[edit]

The reason Remy flees the bar without harming anyone isn't exactly mentioned; nor the reason he lowers his guard allowing the bartender to fire upon him when Patrick desperately screams that Remy Bressant abducted Amanda Gennaro (presumably since Lionel states that he's mislead Patrick to tie everything to Remy but hasn't actually revealed Doyle's involvement, but at that point prior to the reveal the viewer would be lead to think it is simply due to Remy having to toast everyone in the bar now that he has blurted it out loud) — Preceding unsigned comment added by N3v (talkcontribs) 14:08, 13 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Missing plot element[edit]

The plot portion doesn't discuss how a 'fake' trade at the quarry could have ended up 'botched'. Why did the Hatian end up dead (not mentioned in the article)? (Bjorn Tipling 23:43, 29 October 2007 (UTC))[reply]

TimeLine

Ed Harris in the movie said he planted drugs on some guy 15 years back. That there was a kid in their that all he wanted was his playstation. Playstation didnt come out till Dec 94. He would be around 92 when he did this set up? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.91.136.187 (talk) 02:22, 8 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

He actually says that he planted the evidence on the guy in 1995. He then references his partner and what it was like to see him kick in a door 15 years ago, presumably when he was in his prime. The conversation then goes back to the kid with the playstation. I was a little confused at first when I heard this but I realized the context of the statement after. Plot summary[edit]

The current plot summary comes straight from three user comments on imdb.com and, because of that, is vague and redundant. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.244.136.136 (talk) 11:14, 2 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • I reverted the article back to an earlier revision. Thanks for bringing this to attention. TheLetterM (talk) 15:43, 2 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fiction or based on a true story?[edit]

The title says it all really. JayKeaton (talk) 15:32, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's fiction. --RossF18 (talk) 16:41, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Article Name[edit]

Please note that this article is about the movie, not the book. The book title has a commas after Gone and Baby and has its own page, Gone, Baby Gone (novel), although it now redirects directly to Dennis Lehane's page. If someone would like to create a separate page for the novel, please do it at Gone, Baby, Gone (novel) and not here. --RossF18 (talk) 16:41, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Steve Earle in a passing shot[edit]

Very near the end a shot of the sidewalk from a movng vehicle briefly highlights a few people. One of them looks like Steve Earle the country singer who plays Walon the drug rehabilitation volunteer in The Wire.

Can somebody with the DVD check this up ? :)
