What background vocals?[edit]

The article states that Lennon contributed background vocals on Golden Slumbers. There are no background vocals on that song. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 161.31.228.86 (talk) 21:38, 10 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I am asking the same question? So I added Lennon. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.97.204.243 (talk) 21:39, 29 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Misrepresentation[edit]

Re: "McCartney uses only the first four lines of the original poem, with minor word changes".

McCartney appropriates, without acknowledgement, exactly half of the original lyric. He adds to it "Once there was a way to get back homeward/Once there was a way to get back home", which is one line repeated with a tiny variation ("home" replacing "homeward). Thus what McCartney took cannot reasonably be construed as "only", but what he added can be. Since only is POV in any case, I recommend we present the reader with the actual proportion and let him draw his own conclusion. TheScotch (talk) 10:06, 18 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
