POV issues

This article looks to me like it violates WP:NPOV, being written from the first-person-plural point of view of practitioners of this philosophy. Am I the only one who’s reading it this way? —Frungi (talk) 01:07, 29 July 2013 (UTC)

Like I said, it’s written from a first-person-plural point of view, as if the writer is a Japanese Buddhist (or whatever the appropriate term is for those who follow it) writing for Japanese Buddhists. For example: ‘When under the influence of this chi mode or "mood", we are aware of our own physicality and sureness of action.’ That’s certainly not a neutral point of view. This appears to have been copied verbatim from the first site in the external links section. I've found the exact words on several other websites [1] [2] [3] (1st three from a bing search), so I wonder if they're all quoting some earlier work. Other passages do not appear to be copies of the linked Ninjutsu site, but the exact wordings do generate some of the same hits in Bing. Hi Wikimedes. Boy, is that embarrassing. I have to say, that website doesn't look familiar to me. But, it was many years ago, so if you say you've compared the two texts side by side, and found considerable similarities, then I believe you, and offer my sincere apologies. This is not a topic I was (or am) at all familiar with, and so I may have stuck a bit closer than normal to my source, in order to make sure I got it right, make sure I didn't say anything incorrect. In any case, I surely expected that others would come along and add content, change content, based on additional sources, and that as a result, pretty quickly, any text that too closely resembled that one Jeff Miller post would be changed, diluted, or erased ... given how popular the topic of the elements is among those interested in anime, martial arts, ninja myths, etc etc, I'm really surprised that that hasn't happened. This was extremely early in my Wikipedia career, so to speak, and I've most certainly grown much more responsible since then. My sincere apologies, and best wishes going forward, whatever you choose to do with the page. LordAmeth (talk) 09:49, 31 July 2013 (UTC)

I didn't expect you to remember much about edits from so far in the past (LordAmeth is the original author of the article [4]). Anyhow, I agree with the tags on the article. The article could do with some rewording to improve neutrality and avoid plagiarism, and that it could do with better sourcing.--Wikimedes (talk) 17:37, 2 August 2013 (UTC)

Godai is based on form

In traditional Japanese medicine Godai is not the emotions. You will need to remove this from the section. Zongqi (talk) 12:38, 23 November 2020 (UTC)
