not a real town?[edit]

As far as I can tell, Glynco is not really a town or city. People speak of the Glynco airport, but that is short for Glynn County. FLETC is near the airport. I think it is just a name for that area. Bubba73 (talk), 19:42, 7 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Bubba, I posted this over at WikiProject Georgia (U.S. state) as well. It seems that Glynco does exist, according to http://georgia.hometownlocator.com/ga/glynn/glynco.cfm. Reb (talk) 02:41, 8 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
But it doesn't exist according to the US Post Office or the US Census, and there are no residents of Glynco. According to town, a town has residents. Bubba73 (talk), 18:10, 8 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
That site also gives "neighborhood reports", and entering "Glynco, GA" gives "Please correct the fields marked in red". Bubba73 (talk), 18:14, 8 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
