Uncited[edit]

Nothing in this article is cited properly. The big chunks of quotes found in it are from an interview posted on the web, but it should all be cited in the article. Also the claim that he was beaten up in 1993 during a concert is found in none of the links and I can find no information about it anywhere. I don't see why it should stay if there is no evidence of it. I'll await any replies for a period. U R A GR8 M8 (talk) 15:25, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The huge section about Benton repeating himself time and time and time again about how hypocritical christians are and how they all want a peice of him. well... great, but do we really need a quote that long (and not to mention boring and repetative)? especially as its completely uncited. we dont actually know that the user that added that huge beliefs section has just ranted about their own beliefs and claimed it was this benton guy. if its not cited and is as unreliable as it seems to me, then i vote for deletion. I made the beliefs section, and tried to summarise everything appropriately, but others came along and submitted superfluous chunks of crap. I'm getting rid of it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dark Prime (talkcontribs) 23:55, 19 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Glen Benton's photo[edit]

Hello everybody. There was a good photo featuring Glen Benton to the right side from the article. Why it was removed??

Adding new[edit]

- I've restored Glen Benton's cool photo - I've removed his birth date because it is uknown when he was actually born - There was a dummy ironic note about Glen Benton not intending to go to hell after death. I've removed that shit.

Pic?[edit]

That picture is gone again, which is annoying as I jumped to this page to see what he looks like.

Perhaps[edit]

Perhaps a section about those allegations by ex-Deicide members that Benton's beliefs are "a show" would be cool?—arf! 04:42, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

By this I suggest a controversy section covering other things too, hehe—arf! 04:43, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It should be noted that Glen Benton is now a Christian. He admitted it in an interview with Metal Underground. Jesusmetalhead; Jesusmetalhead! 15:45, 30 May 2009 EDT

If that is true, then where would a link to that interview be? Backtable Speak to meconcerning my deeds. 22:48, 30 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sons[edit]

It seems they were named after the guitarists for Deicide, Eric and Brian Hoffman.♠♦Д narchistPig♥♣ (talk) 03:10, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Bigfoot sighting[edit]

Glen Benton filed a statement with the Florida Parks Department in 2007 or so regarding a Bigfoot sighting. That should be noted here. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.252.249.7 (talk) 17:39, 17 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Blacklisted Links Found on the Main Page[edit]

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request it's removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

Below is a list of links that were found on the main page:
