Are these ones stirring rods? I really don't know how are they called in English. --159.148.226.100 (talk) 18:03, 9 October 2009 (UTC) It's my poor try to draw them using XPaint, I have no photos. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 159.148.226.100 (talk) 18:04, 9 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

As nobody protests apparently for a month, I dare putting the picture on the article page. --159.148.226.100 (talk) 20:05, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've never seen any stirring rods in all the labs I worked in looking like that, nor can Google-research bring up any images supporting the drawn image. Most stirring rods I've seen are made of glass, about the size and thickness of your typical McDonald straw. I believe the picture, depicting two different spiral shapes are misleading, hence I'm removing them. --Zephirum (talk) 21:14, 24 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Needs work[edit]

This article needs a lot of work as of Feb 2016, from copy editing to reformatting to additional sources. Daemyth (talk) 00:18, 29 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
