[Untitled][edit]

The Glasgow Tower is clearly not the "Only" structure that can rotate 360 degrees from its base, Radio telescopes come to mind, as well as certain bridges. I have edited this to say "Highest" instead.

I have removed the following statement "The balloon flies over the Glasgow Science Centre on the BBC One ident." I tried to find an accurate source for this and discovered this website http://www2.tv-ark.org.uk/bbc1national/bbc1national1997.html, however, this website is incorrect. According to the dates given, the Science Centre was not yet built, also the photograph shown is that of the 'Armadillo' SECC building.Stellar Smith 07:43, 25 July 2007 (UTC) The website above has now removed its reference to the science centre. Merger proposal[edit]

As the Glasgow Tower forms part of Glasgow Science Centre, I propose the articles be merged into one. Otherwise it could be seen that there should be separate articles for the ScottishPower Planetarium and IMAX cinema, when one article on the science centre with sections could be best. Stellar Smith (talk) 00:13, 27 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Agree. Merge it into Glasgow Science Centre. Enigma message 06:44, 1 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose. Other towers have articles, so this one should. 89.242.19.188 (talk) 07:35, 4 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
