I'll fix this if nobody else does, but the Carl Perkins and Dave Clark Five songs are NOT the same song!

Crystal Palace[edit]

It's widely written that the DC5 played at Selhurst on the 10 February 1968, but there doesn't seem to be any actual evidence of it, and we played away to QPR that day, as the guy at the bottom of this thread points out: http://www.cpfc.org/forums/showthread.php?t=240497

He claims he introduced GAO to Selhurst and seems pretty certain that DC5 didn't play at Selhurst on that day (nor any other). The best source I could find for the date was the Croydon Advertiser which is a bit of a rag and probably wrote that article from the internet sources that I don't consider trustworthy.
