Happy to offer a review. Josh Milburn (talk) 20:54, 30 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • I think readers would appreciate a caption to the image; what are we looking at, here?
  • Is "chaplain" worth a wikilink? "Anglo-Saxon"? "canons"? I certainly know what they are, but perhaps others wouldn't.
    • I didn't link chaplain, but did canons. Anglo-Saxon is gone per below. Ealdgyth - Talk 15:57, 1 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Was Edward the Confessor the last Anglo-Saxon king? You call Harold Godwinson a king further down the article
    • removed the "last Anglo-Saxon" king bit - technically ... Harold's probably Danish and Anglo-Saxon, but Edward was Norman and Anglo-Saxon, so... Ealdgyth - Talk 15:57, 1 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Does your link to St Trond go where you expect it to?
  • "who successive" Should that be whom?
    • Changed, although I'm taking your word for it. We don't use "whom" much on this side of the pond. Ealdgyth - Talk 15:57, 1 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • "addressed to Abbot Æthelnoth of Glastonbury, the sheriff of Somerset, and the thegns of Somerset" Some links would be helpful, I think
    • Done - although we don't have an article on Aethlnoth, so I've linked to the list of abbots. Ealdgyth - Talk 15:57, 1 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • "Giso asserted his authority over the abbots of Muchelney and Athelney, but failed to do the same to Thurstan, Abbot of Glastonbury" Is to the right word here?
    • Went with "but failed to uphold the same claim in regards to Thurstan, Abbot of Glastonbury" Ealdgyth - Talk 15:57, 1 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Is there a particular reason you don't cite the Keynes piece? Have you been able to access it? I think the citation could be a little fuller.
    • I've seen it, and it doesn't add anything that isn't already in the article, as I recall. The volume its in is already packed up for the move, unfortunately. Ealdgyth - Talk 15:57, 1 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Category:People from Lorraine (duchy)? Maybe also a more specific one.
    • I really don't bother with categories, honestly. I'll add this one, but I always end up leaving categories to the people who specialize in them. Ealdgyth - Talk 15:57, 1 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hope this is helpful. Please check my edits. Josh Milburn (talk) 21:20, 30 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Monday and Tuesday are hubby's off work days, so will get to this probably Wednesday. (It is possible I might get to it before but...) Ealdgyth - Talk 13:28, 1 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
And it turns out he had a much smaller list to do than I was expecting... Ealdgyth - Talk 15:57, 1 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
No further comments; happy to promote. Josh Milburn (talk) 21:31, 5 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, sorry, one last thing: Shouldn't the title be "Gisa (Bishop of Wells)"? Josh Milburn (talk) 21:33, 5 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
It was. But we have people who insist that we do not capitalize the B in bishop. I gave up arguing about it a while back... not worth the stress. Some MOS thing or something... and we all know how well you do trying to say MOS is just a guideline... Ealdgyth - Talk 22:46, 9 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
See this diff Ealdgyth - Talk 22:48, 9 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Bizarre. Oh well... I'm happy enough to promote. Josh Milburn (talk) 00:19, 10 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
