2018 Qualification[edit]

Please don not write anymore, that Germany already is qualified for 2018, because the defending champion isn't automatically qualified no more and isn't so for several tournaments now. Only the host team is still pre-qualified, so Germany will play a regular qualification campaign. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.220.62.78 (talk) 00:54, 26 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

England–Germany football rivalry[edit]

Here is a mistake on this main table I think. England - Germany (West Germany) is 12 - 5 - 12 ...??!!--Alexiulian25 (talk) 17:12, 21 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The source used for this article says 14-4-15, while Weltfussball has it as 12-6-15. What does the England article say? Calistemon (talk) 21:46, 21 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I understand why they show this on your source, because they include also the East Germany. So you have to split the East Germany on a separate record.

My sources : [1] - here is a bit different, because they count Win or Lose also for a penalty game.

A penalty game is considered drawn by FIFA. You should now this, I will send you a reference if you do not know. So you have to modify in this article in case of this situations.

Other source : [2] 12 - 5 - 12.

England national football team all-time record - if you have a look here, also you will see the difference. I did modify this articles and add colors, if you want to do it for this article also, and to split the East Germany from the main table. You can add also "Combined predecessor and successor Records" a separate table for this cases. Read the England national football team all-time record article to know what I am talking about. I hope you did understand me. Thanks!--Alexiulian25 (talk) 22:29, 21 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry mate, I will leave those changes up to you as this article is not a priority of mine. Regards, Calistemon (talk) 23:31, 21 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Length of article[edit]

This is being discussed at WT:FOOTY. Many of the lists thay were on page were unnecessary or overly long. Any that remain should be limited to a certain number (I'd go for top 5 or top 10), rather than some cutoff that lengthens the table and means it will keep growing.
