The Futurama Nixon joke in question undoubtedly refers to the old urban myth described here that African customers were terrified by the packaging, believing that pictures of the packaging were literally descriptive of the contents. (There is a visual joke earlier on in the episode about the Bubble Yum "spider eggs" urban myth.) The joke hinges upon the idea that people would be horrified by the image of Nixon by itself. Does this warrant a mention? I only say so because the Bubble Yum article mentions the spider-egg myth. O0drogue0o (talk) 12:49, 25 July 2010 (UTC)

Dates don't line up?

The page for Ann Turner says shse was born in November of 1928, but the contest was held in the summer of 28. The image drawn is of a seemingly 4-6 month old baby, not new born, meaning it would have been about March of 1929. Some verification of names and dates may be in order. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.171.151.229 (talk) 06:16, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
