Nothing about Cheers??[edit]

While the article mentions he played Norm Peterson on Cheers, there is practically nothing about Cheers here at all. There is no mention when he first appeared as Norm, how he landed the role, when it finished... nothing. Drcwright (talk) 03:54, 6 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I was about to make the same comment!! BashBrannigan (talk) 05:49, 4 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Also wondering if anyone that knows more about his years on Cheers could add to this article. OregonPinkRose (talk) 02:40, 1 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Airplane II[edit]

Does screen shots count as proof in being in the film? He appears 4 min and 35 secs into the movie, and he is not credited in the end credits. --172.58.35.69 (talk) 13:38, 16 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Was George Wendt a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon?[edit]

Hello all,

I'm heavily involved with the Wikipedia article List of Tau Kappa Epsilon brothers, and I wanted to get some other people involved that may know more about George's college years. There is a source claiming that George was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon (https://www.thrillist.com/lifestyle/nation/best-fraternities-and-sororities-famous-greek-members), but I can't find any other sources claiming that fact. I also do not see his name on the member directory for Rockhurst University (http://www.tkekappanu.com/member-directory).

There could be several explanations that would still substantiate George as a Teke, such as the notion that he could have pledged the fraternity without ever getting initiated or that he was a member (perhaps an honorary member) at a different college.

Any insight into this? Thanks! Jmnbqb (talk) 21:49, 29 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
