EB1911[edit]

With Revision as of 17:04, 3 December 2010, you, user:Plucas58 rewrote some of the information and added {{1911}}. From which EB1911 article do yo think any of this text was copied?

It seems to me from the history of the article that the information originates from

  • August Hirsch (1877), "Franck von Franckenau, Georg", Allgemeine Deutsche Biographie (in German), vol. 7, Leipzig: Duncker & Humblot, p. 219

It wasn't me who added the EB1911 template - that was done by Yobot in 2008. I was just copy-editing and adding categories. The German biography you identified was actually cited in the article at one time (if not now) but doesn't seem to cover all the facts in the article. Some may have come from the equivalent article on German wiki. But in short - EB1911 doesn't seem appropriate and the German article at least provides most of the basic facts.Plucas58 (talk) 20:53, 11 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for the mistake. I will add the ADB and remove the 1911 as I can not find any mention of this person in EB1911. If it turns out that there is information then the template can always be re-added with article name volume and page number. -- PBS (talk) 14:22, 13 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
