Genre[edit]

It does seem that Geordie has both hard rock and glam rock influences after reviewing. There is no clear genre to define them for now, I'll just call them a rock band, which covers both terms.--F-22 Raptor IV 01:57, 25 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

you're Missing Derek Brown from previous line ups. Dek was a drummer before Brian Gibson — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.30.162.62 (talk) 19:41, 8 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Geordie & AC/DC crossed paths in the 70's[edit]

Back in 1974 Malcom Young, AC/DC founder and rhythm guitarist, went to see Geordie at Hornsby (an outer northern suburb of Sydney) YMCA (source: Murray Englehart, AC/DC: Maximum Rock and Roll, Harper Entertainment). Geordie were touring Australia at the time.

There is also a photo of John Paul Young and Geordie in Sydney in 1974 by noted rock photographer Phillip Morris. John Paul Young was contracted to Alberts Productions, AC/DC's record label.

Bon Scott also played with Geordie as part of Fraternity who supported them in England in the early 70's. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.45.197.228 (talk) 12:25, 25 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
