NPOV?[edit]

This article reads more as a resumé of the organisation's founders (who may not meet the criteria for notability) than as an encyclopaedic entry on the organisation. References are suspect, since the writer of two of the four cited sources, Melanie Nathan, is closely linked to the organisation's founders. A third source is a dead link. A huge amount of style clean-up and citation is needed before NPOV tags can be justifiably removed. — Gk sa (talk) 18:06, 15 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Clean up and article title[edit]

I have cleaned up the article as best I can. One remaining dilemma is the article title. The flag is not the gay pride flag of South Africa, it is a gay pride flag of South Africa. Officially it is the Flag of the GLBTI Association of South Africa but that does not pass WP:COMMONNAME. It is marketed by an organisation called Gay Flag of South Africa which is presumably somehow associated with the GLBTI Association (which seems to be generally unknown). We could call it Gay pride flags of South Africa, but as far as I know there is only one sufficiently notable local flag at this time. HelenOnline 17:36, 19 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
