These pages are on the same topic; could we just do a merge/redirect? --Mr. Vernon (talk) 06:47, 26 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I would rather not merge it with GAS HEATER, as that is a very different invention. Gasoline heaters were used in cars and airplanes, as a gas heater is more like a household furnace or a propane space heater.

I am a novice at editing wiki, so I don't know what I am doing, but will attempt to add some information to this page over the next few days. Right now I am just trying to start a stub so that it exists, and will add more later.

Yes, these two articles seem to be talking about two different types of heaters that use two different types of fuel. Gasoline heater discusses portable automobile and aircraft heaters running on petrol/gasoline. Gas heater discusses "giant Bunsen burner" heaters that use truly gaseous fuels such as propane or natural gas. Although the article isn't perfect, you've done nice work on the citations, James, which the other article is lacking. --Martinship (talk) 07:18, 26 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Don't merge. Burning pressurized gas and burning liquid are quite different processes, different applications too. It may end up in a "anything that burns" heap. NVO (talk) 18:39, 26 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
