An anon recently edited this article to say that Russell is moving on to the BBC. Is this correct? (I've been too busy to check the OG forum lately, so for all I know it could be.) If it is right, in what capacity will he be working for the Beeb? Or is this just a reference to "The Inside Story" (which I wouldn't think of as "working for the BBC", any more than he was "working for New Line Cinema when he wrote those Lord of the Rings behind-the-scenes books). —Josiah Rowe (talk • contribs) 16:58, 14 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

An anonymous edit last night (since reverted) said, "he stepped down to replace Helen Raynor as script editor on the new television series of Doctor Who". That has been very widely rumoured in fan circles and I don't doubt that it's true, but it does not as yet appear to be verifiable, so I guess we either leave discussion here until someone finds an appropriate citation or put it on the article page with a fact tag.
