wikifying[edit]

Would anyone like to take on the task of getting the article up to wiki standards of quality? I currently don't have any pictures other then what could be found on the web, and i'm not sure what the copyright issues would be in this regard. Tani unit 02:47, 10 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have a coworker who is heavy into these kits. i will see if he will allow me to take some photos of some kits in both assembled and unassembled versions. thats about all the help i think i can offer with this one. what are the other quality issues with this one? ashley76[edit]

I added a link to http://www.garagekits.us and it was taken down. This is a great site that not only expands on what garage kits are but, offers tutorials and more info on what is out there as far as kits go, and what the garage kit community is like...Ashley76 20:18, 30 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the link; the links on how to buy each kit made the link more like a store. As such, it doesn't pass WP:EL - the external link guidelines. The site looks nice, hopefully search engines rank it appropriately. --GargoyleMT 22:39, 30 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Japan section is a mess[edit]

The Japan section starts with a statement that is highly prejudiced and misleadingly worded (18+ works at Wonder Festival count for maybe 10% of the entire event). It then rambles into "but it also has this, and some of this, and sometimes this" which is all vague. The statement on "dominant scales" is pure nonsense, as is "preferably with an airbrush". There is no mention of extremely important topics such as how copyright regarding fan works of existing properties is handled in the country. The section is in dire need of a rewrite which would involve removing a huge swath of what is already there. 2404:2D00:5000:701:B9D2:5B05:FC57:BA04 (talk) 00:07, 22 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
