Future edits[edit]
In the future, the elites and leadership section should be edited. I think the titles in the table are written in Arabic - since I do not speak Arabic I was unable to edit the table properly. Also, I hope an additional wikipedia page is eventually created for Gao Ancien, a nearby archaeological site that provides further evidence for Gao's status as an important trading polity.
