Cultural significance - request for contributors[edit]

Would somebody seriously *studying* American mass culture in the Fifties please flesh this article out? Storm was easily as media-dominant in the Fifties as Mary Tyler Moore was in the Seventies. I think you'll find that the character Storm always played was even more similar to Mylie Cyrus's slightly naughty, charmingly spunky character Hannah Montana, a kind of safely rebellious ideal for a rising generation of girls. But there were only three networks, so Storm was far more pervasive. Reruns of My Little Margie were still playing in New Haven at 6am in 1972, over twenty years after the shows first ran. The number of times Storm was on the cover of TV Guide might be a solid NPOV starting place. Profhum (talk) 20:03, 26 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think Teresa Brewer was the same type as Mylie Cyrus, plus Avril Lavigne and Megan Follows. George Slivinsky (talk) 11:46, 18 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
