Gail Strickland also appears, un-credited, in the 1980 movie Airplane as a passenger whose husband never drinks a second cup of coffee at home. Cottonshirt (talk) 14:51, 20 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Gail Strickland was not in Airplane! The character you're thinking of is Mrs. Hammen, and was played by Lee Bryant. See the full cast list of the film at IMDB. [[1]] For this reason I have removed the listed credit from the page. MikeFTM (talk) 17:57, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Gail Strickland attended Florida State University in Tallahass, Florida. As a Freshman, she lived in Reynolds Hall and became well known due to her ability to project he voice for some distance. She ws affectionately nicknamed "Big Mouth Strickland" and seemed to relish the name.
