Info regarding Burton Bell involvement is incorrect as the original lineup did in fact tour, played Cleveland's Odeon Concert Club and State College, PA's Crowbar with Life of Agony.

There were other Ozzfest offdates played as well.Crucifylie (talk) 19:46, 28 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Is there a way to change the main page title of the band? I've updated everything else on the page that I'm aware of, but the formal name of the band isn't "G/Z/R", it's just GZR. I'd like to change that, but I'm not sure how. Or even if it was done, it would probably break links to this page from elsewhere in Wikipedia. Thoughts?

See WP:MOVE. The old title will become a redirect to the new title, and the links will stay intact. --Lph 14:45, 29 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

You missed out the one-off track done on the More Kombat soundtrack with a different vocallist and Martin Atkins (of Killing Joke fame) on drums.

article states there were no live shows with the first record lineup however i saw gzr with burt bell singing in austin, texas in the late nineties. there had been several shows with him singing. no idea who the others were. they opened for korn.

what exactly is the British prounouncation of the letter Z? (24.205.148.23 05:59, 28 July 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Discography Issues

Why are songs appearing on soundtracks listed in the Discography section? "The Invisible" was on their first album, so is nothing unique. And GZR has had music appearing on other soundtracks or compilations (off the top of my head, "Justified" on the 1997 compilation "Got TVT?"). In my opinion, Discography should include albums and other unique material released by the band, not every appearance on vinyl or plastic. StormDrake (talk) 15:19, 18 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

g//z/r -- italic or plain?[edit]

One Rdr to the accompanying article has its title, g//z/r, dolled up a little, including making the initial "g" display on the Rdr page as lower case. Now, we would only consider putting it in italics as well as lower case if we believed that the creator of the name or symbol did so, and i noticed, after staring a little that -- contrary to my initial impressions -- none of the external pages i checked, including one of the founder's, had the italics. What some have is "G//Z/R", and for me (and i assume for now) the colleague who preceded me, is a tendency for the sloping lines to give the eye a faint impression of both the capital letters and slashes tilting to the right a bit. Evidence that there are real italics in an authoritative source could of course change the situation, but for now the evidence is zero, and at worst we await verification that people, who aren't as goofy as i (and thus aren't forced to choose between fighting tooth and nail to distinguish real italics from illusory, and giving up looking) come up with authoritative examples with real italics.
The good news is that i solved the problem of how to get both lower case and italic to display without warnings or quirks on a working Rdr page, and if it's needed again (especially for this page) the method will be there in the Rdr's superseded revisions.

Not only did they play Cleveland with the original lineup. They also played State College, PA at The Crowbar, again with Life of Agony. I also know that they played other off dates of Ozzfest this way, but I do not remember any other locations.Crucifylie (talk) 19:38, 28 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
