Move to Frieda Lawrence[edit]

Should this be moved to Frieda Lawrence? This was presumably the name she was known by the longest, and she is mainly known for her relationship with D.H. Lawrence? PatGallacher (talk) 00:48, 2 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

New Picture Is Needed[edit]

Frieda Lawrence was a fascinating character in her own right, but she's most widely known because of her relationship with D.H. Lawrence. The article's single photo, which shows Frieda in old age, many years after Lawrence's death, is not adequate. The article should also have a picture of Frieda during the era when she first met (and enthralled) Lawrence. She was in her early thirties, and was a vital and beautiful woman. What happened to D.H. Lawrence's ashes[edit]

Almost 50 years ago I knew a woman in Denton, Texas, Bess McCullar, who had run an art gallery in Taos in the 1930s. Bess had been Frieda Lawrence's bridge partner. According to Bess, Frieda Lawrence, although she was living with her Italian lover, kept DH's ashes in a ceramic chicken. Wonder what happened to the chicken? 86.166.97.254 (talk) 13:34, 23 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
