Demonology in the book[edit]

I have a reference which discusses how the book lists demons as the princes - Asmodeus as prince of lechery, Beelzebub as Prince of envy, and Lucifer as prince of gluttony. p. 84 of

Rudwin, Maximilian (1970) [1931]. The Devil in Legend and Literature (2nd ed.). New York: AMS Press. ISBN 0-404-05451-X.

However, not having read Friar Rush, I am unsure of how the material arises. I guess I see it as interesting as more elaboration of the soap opera of Hell from Dante :) - can anyone more familiar shed some light on it? Casliber (talk · contribs) 21:00, 8 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
