He may have lived and spent his youth in Frenchpark, but his actual birthplace was Castlerea in Co. Roscommon.

"a large proportion of the baronial population"[edit]

Is this right? The baronial population was 28,859, and of these 1,500 is described as a "large proportion". Closer to 5%??86.42.205.124 (talk) 13:37, 3 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
