Original research[edit]

Much of this article is currently various editors' observations. There are numerous assertions that nobody has been able to support with a WP:RS and worse, one editor keeps removing maintenance tags to this effect, going back years. Please help find sources for these statements or tighten up the article by removing the observations. Toddst1 (talk) 04:42, 20 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

'Consumer facing American cuisine'?[edit]

French vs. Catalina[edit]

Anecdotally, I think of French dressing and Catalina dressing as separate styles. But I could accept a case for both being grouped under one article. What I don't understand is Catalina not having its own entry (it redirects here), but the French article referring to Catalina at times as if it is a separate style. It's internally inconsistent.
