Altitude[edit]
The altitude reference to freefall speed isn't specific to freeflying and may not be relevant for this article. Belly fliers also fall faster at higher altitudes. Perhaps this otherwise useful information should be moved to the freefalling article. Rklawton 02:56, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
The person before me does not know what they are talking about.
Can you fall faster belly down when compared to headdown? No! Head down there is much less wind resistance. Therefore you fly faster. Belly down is very very slow(125ishmph) compared to other techniques of flying(150-300mphs). In fact if you spread your arms out as much as possible and try and cup the air-that is most likly the slowest you can get yourself to fly with out a wingsuit.

Perceived danger[edit]
Back in the day, skydivers thought that RW was more dangerous than freestyle. When freefly came along, RW jumpers thought freefly was more dangerous. Blah blah. I'll leave the edit about perceived danger because it's true about the perception and there is no claim to fact. What I'd really like to see are facts about the relative dangers. Remember, RW jumpers are still diving on formations - essentially a freefly maneuver - and RW jumpers leave a much larger burble than freeflyers. Personally, I don't think freeflying will turn out to be any more dangerous than RW. Capitalization of "freefly"[edit]
Is FreeFly/Freefly/freefly the accepted style? Likewise, would "freeflying" or "FreeFlying" be the correct form? ConstantQuery (talk) 02:03, 27 December 2022 (UTC)
