Untitled[edit]

This page doesn't seem fair or objective. It needs correction or deletion, it doesn't add real value to wikipedia and infact devalues wikipedia as a tool for advertising —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.98.207.120 (talk) 03:33, 26 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hmmmm..[edit]

I think we should modify this article. To me it simply looks like an add for the book, there is no evidence presented of why his conclusions should be considered fact. At least the Wiki on Freakonomics talk about sumo wrestlers as evidence, mainly I think we should include because some of his suggestions are outrageous (just like in Freakonomics!). Just a thought.... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.45.82.193 (talk) 04:48, 20 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Old cover art[edit]

Is it legal and desirable to keep the original cover in this article? The image Image:Freedomnomics.png was being used here under fair use originally, but now it is scheduled for deletion. Kborer 13:05, 17 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Chapter Summary[edit]

I don't have a copy of the book handy, but the statement, "Lott explains why oil and gas companies are acting in the best interests of their customers" doesn't really seem like the argument Lott makes. Oil companies have their own best interests at heart, but because of the free market and yadda yadda, it also happens to be the customers' best interest. This statement as attributing some sort of benevolent agency to oil and gas companies, and Lott just isn't saying that. But again, don't have the book handy, so maybe somebody could take a closer look? AstrolobeJones 01:03, 20 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:FreedomnomCover.jpg[edit]

Image:FreedomnomCover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
