[Untitled][edit]

There's problems with this article; for one thing, it should mention the death of Furnivall at some point, probably at the end. The ending is abrupt and odd.--Prosfilaes 22:39, 1 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Is this the same "Frederick J. Furnivall" to whom "The English and Scottish Popular Ballads" (edited by Francis James Child) is dedicated? If so, some mention might be made. -- Roger Priddle 206.172.209.41 (talk) 11:54, 24 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, same man - Furnivall dedicated his edition of the Percy Folio to Child as far as I can remember. I try and find a reference. ANB (talk) 18:15, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
