Incorrect birth date of of 1874 and not 1870 seems to be rife on the internet. See http://www.tribalpages.com/family-tree/nimbus/27/141/Frank-Dyall-Family — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.156.243.118 (talk) 00:21, 26 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Also see http://www.genesreunited.co.nz/searchbna/results?memberlastsubclass=none&searchhistorykey=0&keywords=franklin%20dyall&from=1950&to=1999 showing articles from his death - all state he was 80 at the time of his death thus 1874 cannot be correct. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.130.246.38 (talk) 00:04, 15 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

1870 is indeed correct, and thoroughly documented. His knocking a few years off for his Who's Who entry was, if not quite par for the course, at least far from uncommon for actors (or actresses) of that vintage. Tim riley talk 12:44, 28 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Stage[edit]

Not my area of expertise, but I think he was a stage actor as well.

Have found a photo of Dalys Theatre (the building is now the Warner Village West End cinema, or Vue West End, or whatever it's called these days - NE corner of Leicester Square), circa 1935. He and Colin Keith-Johnston were in a play of "The First Legion", later a 1951 film.Paulturtle (talk) 00:17, 26 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Paulturtle: - excellent point, and now attended to. Thanks for spotting this omission. Tim riley talk 12:44, 28 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
