Untitled[edit]

Does anyone know about Francis Hopkinson Smith art - I have a framed print of "On the Thames" and I'm trying to find out what its worth

Overdue library book[edit]

This is probably too trivial for the article, but one of his books was returned to the San Francisco library recently, 100 years overdue, during a fine forgiveness program.[1] - Wikidemon (talk) 00:08, 14 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Grand Harmonicon date mismatch?[edit]

He's listed as inventing the Grand Harmonicon, but the file info for the picture of the instrument dates it at "ca. 1824-33", despite his birth date being 1838. The Chrysler Museum of Art page for that same instrument dates it at ca. 1820, and also lists its maker as Smith, born in 1838, so it's seemingly been missed there too, or else I've... completely forgotten how dates work?

(was there maybe another guy of the same name making musical instruments, and they've just been conflated?) Cervmoon (talk) 03:41, 14 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
